Title: SECURITY OFFICER
Location: Brant Haldimand County
Responsibilities:
The purpose of a Security Officer is for the protection of people, property and assets from theft, fire and espionage namely by:
- Conducting both interior and exterior patrols, at times extensive, of the clients property in all weather conditions.
- Responding to emergencies such as (but not limited to) fire, bomb threats and personal injuries.
- Protecting people and/or equipment from physical hazards, existing and or potential.
- Deterring theft of property.
- Being alert and responsive during all hours of the shift.
- Conducting Emergency evacuations of a client facility.
- Conducting entry and egress access control of people and or vehicle traffic.
- Performing all procedures as outlined in the site's Post Orders.
- Maintaining lock and key control.
- Ensuring that the Security Post is not left unattended unless relieved by another Security Officer.
- Having knowledge of property vulnerabilities and hazards.
- Having knowledge of all rules and regulations pertaining to the safe conduct of client employees and or visitors.
Requirements:
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Have never pleaded guilty or received a conviction under the Criminal Code of Canada.
- You must be over the age of 18.
- Have a mailing address in Ontario
- A valid driver’s license and own vehicle an asset.
